I'm hoping It's only that just still have too much fat on my body, but it's possible I also have excess skin that I want to choke the crap out of.

Anyone have advice on this? You could probably tell from my picture what's up... whether it's skin or just fat.

Check out a previous post.

Btw, why do you have a frowny face? It's kinda sad.

My best friend has a frame quite similar to yours and when he started out heavier. Now he has a freaking eight pack. You still have fat, but you need to bump up resistance, especially compound exercises. I would try to bulk up some, and work on cardio to replace the fat with muscle (this process takes quite some time and trust me you will enjoy seeing the rewards).

Thanks for the responses.

The sad face is just a joke. I don't want my face connected to that body yet, so I covered it up. The picture of me when I was heavier than that was an angry face.

I would love to start lifting again, but that's not in the cards. I've got tendonitis in both wrists from work, and one of my wrists is broken from a dirtbike crash last year (never healed, needs surgery). I've decided to start yoga in the meantime because I think I'll be able to handle that with no problem. I'll definitely start lifting again when my situation allows for it. Hopefully swimming and yoga can help give me what I need for now.

Thanks for letting me know about your friend, that helps a lot to know.

No problem.... the key for him to not have to worry about skin issue was weight lifting, and it did work very well. Talk to trainers at your gym or local university and try to find ways to get in some strength training considering your wrist issues (but you definitely don't want to hurt yourself). I just got a trainer and man it makes a world of difference in my weight training. In 6-7 months I am expecting to see some huge differences. Good Luck
