Hi Traineo Team,

As some of you know I am designing bootcamps in the Brecon Beacons to help further individuals awareness of themselves.

My personal choice is to coach through activity so I am planning and having the bootcamps incorporate a lot of physical activity.

This will be my first bootcamp and I am looking for volunteers to come along, join in the fun and provide some feedback on how they experienced the week so I can continue refining the course. Just to clarify, this will not be a profit making venture, but an exercise to develop my ideas and concepts. And I will need some enthusiastic participants to enjoy the experience, get involved in their own development and share their feedback.

If you know anyone interested in getting involved then please get in touch or point them in my direction.

Activities that can be expected are hiking, running, circuit training, orienteering, as well as personal and group coaching activities involving personal reflection and a gaining of further insight. All activities will lead to a greater understanding with the hope that the exploration and learning continues way past the 5 days we spend together. And also, sees our training goals soar as a by product.

If this is something you can relate to, or know someone who can then great! otherwise have a great day and....

..Keep up the Intensity!!

Awesome work guys! I'm building a ninja training camp up on my ridge, but its for people who already have a martial arts background, and are fit. It is really nice to have destinations for people who want to exercise but want it totally planned into their day so that they cannot flake. In a society where for the most important years of your life your schedule is planned down to the minute for you, as adults we often have trouble making exercise a daily scheduled thing. With a boot camp/fitness camp adults only have to make one decision, show up. The focus of my camp is to get martial artists and train them in an outdoor environment, mostly focusing on increasing awareness.

I'd love to do that, but I know I can't. Location, most likely, and the fact that I'm 14 years old.

Either way, good luck. It sounds like a lot of fun along with a great experience. Have fun!

Well either way stay in touch and maybe something could work out in your favour for the future.

Out of interest what is it that attracts you to the bootcamp the most?

I would love to do it if I am in the same city as you, Dean.

I am in a local all women bootcamp now. It was fun because of all the woman-talk during exercising.

But, I would prefer a bootcamp, not only train my body, but also train my mind.

Dean, by the way, I have signed up for newsletter on your Warrior web page. But so far, no letter ever come to me yet. Your Warrior web page has gone life, right?

Looks like I need to do this camp in America!! Ha ha

Maybe we could arrange something when I finally come over to do that New York marathon?

Yes, Glovia the newsletter is hitting complications (all of which is technical stuff that I don't get). Stick with it though there will be some info coming shortly

Keep up the Intensity

I don't even know what time of the year it is held yet? Ha ha

I think I need a PA I'd lose my head if it weren't screwed on. In all seriousness though I'm really looking forward to doing the New York marathon someday. Would be a great excuse to catch up with a lot of peeps over there and spend some time that side of the pond!

That sounds awesome! Sign me up!! I am kind of fit and have a fair amount of martial arts experience (Jujitsu, Kung Fu, Karate).

I know!

Am looking forward to hopefully seeing this myself. Will it be like the contender where we train hard then prepare for a few carefully selected bouts? Cool!

Too bad your boot camp is few thousand miles away. Perhaps, I should look into one around here. I wonder where I would start.

What kind of commitment is required? All day, couple of hours?

Let me know.

To be honest this particular camp is going to be purely a fact finding mission so there are no costs involved in terms of charging for my time.

Once I know who is going though I do let them know what kind of kit they may require so depending on what stuff you already have, it may require some investment in your personal kit. For basics like boots, water proofs, cooking equipment etc...

I am keen to see what different levels people are at and how far people want to push things. If enough people turn up, I'm toying with the idea of splitting the group into teams for some friendly competition.

All in all it will be a chance for me to get some feedback on what you guys need and what activities are/ are not appropriate. Also, a chance to research logistics like safety and keeping an eye on the group.

So should be fun. If you know some keen guys then let them know for sure!

I think initially it will be as it may be quite demanding in places and involve very little creature comforts. Part of the experience. I'm sure some lasses would still love this but am thinking at the moment we'll just keep it as a guy thing

There will be a few of us about the weekend before and the weekend after, so if you fancy coming for the day or the weekend than let me know.

Of course, as it all develops there will be plenty more opportunities
