How can I be 21 pounds lighter and baaaaaarely a pant size down? HOW??? I can physically fit into a size 12 (meaning I can actually button and zip them, but they are very tight and I have the muffin top thing going on. I tried on lots of brands of size 12's too with the same problem.

I am excersizing 5 times a week.

Monday- Bosu strength
Tuesday- Run 4 miles
Wednesday- Pilates
Thursday- Spinning
Friday- Run 4 miles

My diet is pretty darn good I think. I am a vegetarian and eat healthy. My diet consist mostly of veggies, a few carbs (pasta couscous), and some beans and kegumes.

I just want to . Seriously. 21 pounds down, shouldn't that be AT LEAST a pant size?

Are you sure that you are losing fat and not muscle? Have you gotten your BF measured or done measurements? If you are only losing fat, then I wouldn't sweat it. I mean sure it's frustrating, but different people lose fat from different areas of their body 1st. It kinda sucks. I store a lot of fat in my belly too.

Maybe you are losing weight overall and not specifically on your tummy. I too lost 20 lbs and havent gone down a size. Before i would squeeze into a size 10. Now i can comfortably get into a size 8-10 without squeezing in and no tightness like i gelt before. Gradually you will see more pronounced changes, so keep it going !

You generally lose fat in the opposite order that you put it on. It is kind-of like trying to remove some water from the bottom of a pool.

I actually know people who have lost fat from their fingers and face first when dieting.

As well, if you have lost some muscle along the way, you will not be able to fit into the same clothes anymore when you get to the weight where they used to fit. Muscle is a lot heavier than fat and losing a couple pounds of muscle will not make that much of a difference to your appearance like a couple pounds of fat will.

You are still doing great!
