Hey Everybody,

I've been using the Men's Health personal trainer to generate workouts and I love the idea of it--it spits out a workout, tells you your reps and weight to do, and has links to pictures of the exercises. However, unlike Traineo, the website is not a work in progress. It has some annoying attributes which don't allow you to remove certain exercises out of the repertoir, for example, or doesn't let you rearrange the work out (i.e. I don't want to do legs on a Friday as I'm doing a long run over the weekend).

I was poking around trying to find something else with no luck. I did find the HDO Training website, but the work out it spit out for me had only four exercises, focusing on one body part and no abs.

Any ideas? I want something consistent and economical that saves me time!

Thanks,

Brandon

No one!? ;(
I guess I'll keep using the Men's Health one...
I wish they were 10% as responsive as the guys here are--they basically ignore your emails but have no competition...

There's http://www.runfatboy.net which is nice and pretty consistent. It lets you choose your exercises and arranges them by difficulty. It's free for a month. I prefer traineo since I know which exercises to do already and just have to keep track of them.

I was using Core Performance for a while. But as a professional in the Web industry poor navigation and poor tool design ultimately turned me off. Though for $10/mo it was really not that bad.

I am however switching to Global Fitness for my online personal training needs. They have come highly recommended to me. They seem to be focused on a lot of personal interaction with their clients which would be a nice change.

Thanks, I'll check those out. I like the Men's Health one, but get the impression that they NEVER do any improvements and the customer service has been horrific/ almost non-existent.
