Does anyone know of any good workout videos for men out there? I am not the type that like jumping around looking foolish. Something a little more old school would be great.

David Carradines' Tai Chi workouts are good. Or Tae Bo workouts are pretty good too.

To be honest my fav workout videos feature those fitness models jumping around in spandex! Very uplifting ;) . Somehow it keeps me much more motivated than a couple of bodybuilders lurching around with big weights....maybe its just me....

Touché.

With that in mind, any advise on the good workout videos with a nice view?

I've been thru a few workout vids thanks to Netflix. Not using them so much, but trying to find one that didn't totally turn me off for the same reasons I think you are describing.

The Abs Diet, which is the cornerstone of the plan I have used to lose weight, has an accompanying DVD and I think they just released a 2nd one. I don't really use it, but it's a product of Men's Health Magazine and is pretty good. The basics of the diet plan are on the first CD as well.

I also thought the Bigger Loser Workout was OK. That's the workout DVD that spun off from the television show, and I just thought the guy leading the workout was a little easier to swallow than most of the videos marketed to women. It's also got some profiles of some of the big losers that are kind of inspiring and motivating. I've never watched the show, but I enjoyed seeing the winners talk about their weight loss and was inspired by it. If I tried to do a workout vid, I might try that one.

I have those two at home but never really use them. I just go to the gym because it's right down the street. But I keep them around just in case. Maybe I will give them a shot sometime soon.

I'd go for Billy Blanks' Tae-Bo; it's on the manly side. There's a more even gender balance of participants than any other videos I've done.
