HELP

I had my baby 21 months ago and I still cannot seem to shed the extra poundage. I have switched to eating whole grains, fruits, and 100 calorie smart snacks, but nothing has changed.

I thought the weight would come off so easy but it didn't...I'm having huge difficulty now with my appearance, so much that I even find getting naked in front of my husband to be embarassing.

What can I do this has to change!

Hey Marni, congrats on the baby!

For starters, 100 Calorie snack packs are typically not very healthy. They're just 100 Cal of carbs/sugar. Also, where are you getting protein from? Your list only has carbs and maybe some fat. Are you working out any?

First off, I just want to say that there is absolutely no reason to be ashamed of being nude in front of your husband. You gave him one of the bests gifts in the world.

That being said, I would say continue doing what you are doing. If you aren't already working out, I would add that in. 100 calorie packs aren't the greatest things in the world, but compared to what most people eat, they are much more ideal.

You sound like you are eating the right things. Are you being 100% honest with yourself about what you are eating? I just read an article that people often underestimate the amount of calories/fat they are eating by close to 50%. I reccomend logging 100% of your calories for 2 weeks in order to get a better idea of what is going into your body. Good luck!

I work out 2 days at the gym in our condo, basically the 2 days before my days off. I find that when I get home from work I'm exhausted even though I only work in a call center maybe I should up it to all 3? I work 10 hr shifts so I can have 3 days off with the family It's a horrible job because all I do at work is sit around are there any exercises I can do while I'm there maybe? I have recently been trying to get out for a 1/2-1 hr walk in the evenings and have also been taking my little girl to baby swim classes hopefully the weight will start coming off.

I do need to find a good calorie calculator....do you know of any?

www.fitday.com is a free online one. Takes some getting used too but I can track what I eat pretty easily.

It gets harder the more processed and fast food/eating out you do.

You can even input stuff that you eat if you find the info on them for your favorites.

Thanks that link is exactly what I need.

I hardly ever eat fast food it's to expensive and unsatisfying plus the hubby's a x-chef so he makes better food then they can anyways.

I like those lean cuisine skillets though they are so simple it's great for whipping up quick after work.

Glad to be of help

It will be amazing when your tracking what you eat vs what you think your eating.

I've seen people realize they are eating 1000 more calories a day then they thought. In 4 days thats over 1lb of fat...
