I give myself up to 450 calories or so for breakfast. Then follow with a 250-300 calorie snack at 10am to 10:30am, which is usually something like a toasted whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter, some almonds and an apple, or beef jerky and a fiber bar.

I don't always eat the really healthy ones - but I do try to get ones that are either healthy or have lots of vitamins. Cheerios with honey is pretty good. I've been purchasing Market Watch from Target as their cereals are as good as the name brands but less expensive.

Guess what, i've finished studying for a term, I can now focus on exercising again. I know theres no excuses but I sorta stopped when I had to do two programming classes and was spending all my time trying to do it, which left me little time to want to exercise. About the milk, well i'm 19, and usually I dont drink any milk at all. It would be hard for me to have it during the day because sometimes if I have it too fast I feel a bit sick. So I think its good to have it for breakfast, I hope this is ok. Think of it as having orange juice usually for breakfast ...

Reply by Megan G

love the lunch! you sound like the kind of person who would dig the "12 superfoods" recipe book. it's called something like that, and has recipes using oats, salmon, berries, nuts, spinach etc- all the high-nutrient foods. try marinating chicken breast in different ways, then cooking it and slicing it over a baby spinach and lettuce salad. wrap your chicken up with some alfalfa or broccoli sprouts in a low-carb tortilla wrap with some 2% cheddar cheese. mix it with refried beans,...

Reply by Something Dark Side

Today I had breakfast (shock horror).. good old fashioned rolled oats, not cooked, in 1 cup of milk with one bannana. And 2 cups of milk with added chocolate Nesquick.

The other day I wanted to look up why it seemed like I wasn't able to remember things as well as I used to. Considering I usually eat chips for lunch, I gathered it could be vitamins. So I wrote a list down of what foods contain what vitamins to help you remember things better. And alot of these included oatmeal, some ...
