Ok... I am heading to the store this weekend and I want to get some new easy snacks to bring to work and I was thinking about getting some low-fat kosher yogurt. I was wondering, how good is it for you? really? I see ads for new types of yogurt all over but am i setting myself up for failure? Is there a different snack (besides fruits and veggies of course ) that I should get instead?

All ideas welcome.

Unsalted almonds are a good snack that may also curb the appetite more than other things.

what kinds of snacks do you like? try incorporating things you like to eat as snacks or mini-meals.

I agree with Derek, almonds are awesome. They have a decent amount of fat in them but these are healthy fats.

I also do a reduced fat string cheese, though not as healthy.

I have already said this in another thread, but my favourite yogurt is shiloutte because it has big chunks of fruit. BUT I love the apple crumble yogurt by source.

Stonyfield Farm Yogurt is 100% organic
and its good for you.
Like really good for you.
My health teacher in high school used to eat it for lunch. Just a cup of yogurt.

It is full of what he called "good bacteria". So, if you fill up on good bacteria, they'll fight the bad bacteria, and you won't get sick. And it's true. The man was never sick.

If you get just plain yogurt, you can mix stuff into it.
Which is yummy.

My staple snacks are Dannon Light & Fit, 2% string cheese, baby carrots, bananas, apples, pb & bread, and pouches of tuna... yum!
