I read about Kim's Light Bagels online yesterday. I think I want to buy all the flavors!!! Here's her website: http://www.kimslightbagels.com/

What would anyone suggest what to put on the bagel? Cream cheese (even fat free) is too caloric if I'm going to have one of these because they weigh in at 110 calories each.

I'd love a suggestion for some type of very low-cal spread.

Thanks!!!
Lolly

I think if you just want low-cal, then you're best off with some light, lowfat/nonfat cream cheese.

But, why not try and get in some healthy fats from either raw, organic butter or some Natural Peanut Butter (bonus of protein)?

I make my own cranberry sauce and use it in place of jelly, no HFCS and I control the amount of sweetener I use ( usually honey). You could probably use an artificial sweetener if you wanted.

I like almond butter on my bagels.

I love the nut butters (I have almond and "real" peanut)... but, too many calories for me right now. Thanks for those suggestions!

I've never thought of cranberry sauce. That's a great idea. Maybe I could add stevia instead of honey.

I'm also toying with the idea of some kind of veggie puree to top bagels/toasts. I want the creamy and rich mouth-feel...
