Snow and ice shovelling weather here, and trying to fend off a cold, and recover from yesterday's 5K and weight lifting, so I could eat a horse, but I decided to leave the horse alone and ...

Organic ground beef sauteed with capers, garlic and diced fresh tomatoes; Mashed sweet potatoes and peas.

Yogi Breathe Deep tea.

Ahhh maaaaaa gahhhhd, YUM!

Hub and I attacked, (like ANIMALS with our fingers, ripping and tearing and getting nice and messy!), a most succulent free range rotisserie chicken, along with some steamed snow peas a la sesame oil and a dash of soya sauce. Washed down with a cup o' bubbley and it---was---diviiiiiiiiiiiine, RAAHHHHHR!

Scrambled eggs with a dusting of grated Swiss cheese and after, a cup o' blueberries--expensive this time of year, but I'm worth it, and they are GOOD.

Couple slices of toast and a slice of Christmas Vanocky.

Salad with baby carrots, sliced almonds, croutons, home-made salad dressing. Banana. A few of Gordo's left-over ravioli.

Pretty good going, but on the way to move some bookshelves at the in-laws ... a tall latte and a dark chocolate covered graham cracker from Starbucks. (I didn't eat that really, did I? I guess I did? )

A SMALL bowl of homemade fettuccine and rock shrimp in alfredo sauce.

I used to pile this rich favorite on a plate and pay for it afterwards by feeling too full and then, of course, the weight gain.

Now, I'm learning to eat without "proportion distortion" so that I can still enjoy the favorites and stick to my weight loss goal.

My diet feels really boring compared to you creative guys. I last had a tuna sandwich with cucumber and I'm about to chomp away on my Granny Smith apple.

Mind you, I like it

5 small shredded carrots mixed with 1 apple and a handful of raisins, and 100g broiled chicken.

I have NO idea if that's a good meal, but it felt like diet food, so...

Spyke - that sounds DARN good. Much better than McCrappy's (McDonald's) or Sloppy King (Burger King).

Just had some more deelish Kashi cereal. I'm glad it's so good, otherwise I'd have to e-mail them a nasty letter about it being so expensive AND tasting bad.

A cup o' white beans in my faux-alfredo-garlic sauce, (made with creme-soy in stead of cow cream), followed by 3 whole wheat, hi-fiber mini-crisp bread slices, smeared lightly in lo-fat cream cheese and natural prune spread.
