I have a few real goals that I want to achieve, some childish ;-) and others more serious. Currently I'm in a competition with friends to see who can get 'the best six pack' by 01 Mar 2008... like I said childish!
The others are fitness orientated. I have a trip planned to Thailand In January 2008 to train Muay Thai and MMA for 6 months. The training looks harsh; 4-8km warm up run followed by technique training, conditioning, pad work and sparring.... TWICE a day... 6 days a week! Obviously I'll need to be fit so I have a general goal of improving CV dramatically (I really should set specifics!) I'm also booked in to run a 10k in a few weeks and a half marathon early next year... funny thing is I absolutely HATE running with a passion!
Current program is 5.5km run in the morning followed by weights in the afternoon (one bodypart) Mon - Fri.
Biggest problem is diet.. damn that KFC!

I'm basically trying to get in shape and be healthy...
diaryofthefatman.blogspot.com
I like participating in sports but I want to be more competitive. Also I'm with Kevin Spacey from American Beauty - good reason :)
I'm looking to lose about a hundred lbs in the course of a year, and basically to just consistently get better. And I love comments and messages, so keep 'em coming!
I talk about goal setting a lot, how about I actually set some?
Well it's time to revisit goals... I didn't do too well with my end of year plans, but learned some things and changed my plans up a bit as I went along. During the 5-7 weeks of the year, I was able to put on about 8-10lbs of muscle, and stay at the same actual weight. The plan is to start the Strong Lifts 5X5 program to supplement the Couch to 5K program, and that should last the next 8-12 weeks.
I'm updating goals as well. Lowering cholesterol remains a goal, and I'll find out about that at the end of August.
Been bouncing around a bit, but getting a little stricter again and will monitor that over the next 3-4 weeks. I feel poised to really lose some weight again, so I'm looking forward to the healthy eating and additional exercise.

In the morning I usually have 2 whole eggs and an egg white, with some sauteed veggies... Today I remembered I had some left over zuccini! Add in some fresh spinache, onions, peppers, and red pepper flakes - yum! And I was in a hurry so I added some cold salsa to cool it down a bit

Depending on how feel, the final weight goal is 60-75kg. Final fitness goal is to run a pain free 5k without wanting to die.

Minu, I did try to find Burrata once upon a time but was told because it needs to be consumed within 48hrs that they didn't bother to import it. There is just not enough demand here. Maybe in Amsterdam! I just buy a generic buffala, would eat mozza ALL DAY if i lived back in Italy though.
Last eaten: the same but breakfast was plain skim organic yoghurt with hempseeds, flaxmeal and some banana slices.
