Okay, I have been wondering if anyone else out there is willing to sacrifice taste in order to find a nutritious snack. I have been lifting weights recently in order to bulk up, and I was looking for a protein bar that was 150 calories or less, and I didnt find much at all. I wanted a bar that minimizes sugar, fat, carbs, and artificial sweeteners while increasing in protein and fiber. ANyone have a similar scenario that would like to share ideas on how you deal with the same situation?

First, I think you are looking for too much here. Some sort of magical mystery bar that solves all your dietary requirements. If you want a bar with lots of fiber and low sugar and cal, that can be done. Just eat something with a lot of bran in it. If you want a low cal protein bar, go with the EAS bars:

Calories 220
Calories from Fat 60
Total Fat 6g
Saturated Fat 4g
Dietary Fiber 2g
Sugars 2g
Other Carbohydrates 20g
Protein 21g

The problem there is the "other carbs" which are artificial sweetners which I hav been trying to avoid. You did hit the nail on the head in what I am looking for. In realization of this, I made a granola bar that had the nutritionals I wanted, but sacrificed the taste to do so.

EASY
HEALTHY
TASTY

Pick two.

Reminds me of the slogan with the missile designers:

FAST
ACCURATE
CHEAP

pick two. Guess which ones the russian's picked?
