so im a big fan of cheez-its. i don't eat them regularly and when i do its in strict moderation (i actually count them out! :-x ).
but even still i am open to finding something that's healthier, yet still tasty/crunchy/satisfying with just a handful or two.
something kind of in the same cracker-y, including (but not limited to) cheesy - type snacks?
other snacks in general would be great too.
thanks!

Started NutriSystem on 3/10/07 to lose weight. Continue to weight train and adding more cardio. Primary goal is to drop the weight. Once the weight is off, then I will intensify the strength training.

Late July Cheese Crackers
1 oz snack has 130 v 144 for Sunshine's cheez-its, and only has 6gm fat compared to 7.2. They are also fully organic.
They are little more salty than regular cheez-its.

My fitness regimen includes stationary cycling, light weight training and lots of walking around NYC. I'm a graduate of WeightWatchers and an enthusiastic advocate of its balanced approach to weight loss. I'm sure that I drink too much coffee and get too little sleep. :)
My goals are to maintain my weight in a healthy BMI/BF % range and forestall the toll of advancing age. :)
I think Traineo's established a great community and appreciate the support and information we share.

I'm a big fan of the multi-grain nuggets produced by Benzel's Pretzels. They're low-fat and, because they're small, you get 11 or so per portion size.

I really like Kashi TLC crackers in Country Cheddar. I'm a huge Cheez-it fan, too, and as heretical saying something like this is, I think that TLC crackers taste a lot better. They're very savory and the cheese taste isn't artificial.
They only have 4.5g fat and aren't organic, but are all natural.

I second the Kashi TLC crackers. They're really good. You can get them cheap if you have a Trader Joe's nearby you.

Mmm. Cheeeeeese.
I like Baked Cheetos. The little bags are 120cal and 4.5g fat, not the best nutrition, but crunchy, salty and cheesy enough for me to have on occasion. I think they taste quite close to regular cheetos. Especially satisfying if eaten slowly to get all that cheese taste ;) My grocery store sells large bags of the small bags of the Baked Frito Lay line. If I buy the big bag of anything its trouble unless I force myself to portion out everything into little baggies.
I also eat Trader Joes 100 calorie pack cheese crackers. (Also 4.5 g of fat)
Their light string cheese is excellent too.

Puffed cheetos... 29 of them = 160 calories... isn't puffed air great?
